Wire Daisies have joined forces with Global Cool to spearhead Global Cool's My CO2 campaign. The band have produced in conjunction with Global Cool a special video for their ballad "Never Meant to Hurt You" taken from their current album highlighting the problem of global climate change. The film features a dream sequence of someone in the future where time to save the planet is running out. Tracking through the four seasons of the year the film emphasises that if mankind had moved faster, matters would not be as catastrophic as the dreamer dreams. CLICK HERE to view.

The human race is currently producing 26.5 billion tonnes of CO2 per year, with an increase of half a billion tonnes of CO2 a year. Within the next decade, huge amounts of greenhouse gas emissions will take us to the point of no return when the global climate will become irreversibly unstable.
