"The U.S. is finally catching on to U.K. band Wire Daisies" says NewNowNext.com, just one of the many reviews that the Daisies are getting on American websites. The sites are unanimous in their enthusiasm for Gay Boy, with Newnownext calling the song "pretty fantastic" and GayWired.com loving the "utterly upbeat and subtly camp song that should make for many a night on the dance floor". GayWired.com has also posted the article to all its network sites, so the word is out in the States!
'Now Play It', the unique internet-based video service where you can learn to play your favorite songs taught by the artists themselves, has just won the Best Digital Service award at the BT Digital Music Awards at London's Camden Roundhouse.
The Daisies have four tutorials available on nowplayit.com, alongside the likes of KT Tunstall and Coldpaly. Steve takes you through Never Meant to Hurt You, Make Everything Change and Rocket Girl, whilst Treana gives you a one to one on the riff and rhythm of Rocket Girl.
A 'Now Play It' DVD will also be coming out shortly, with the Daisies part of the tracklisting.
