Wire Daisies to perform on Virtual Second Life tonight @ 9pm!

daisies_resized-copy.jpgThe Wire Daisies have entered into the 'virtual world' of Second Life online. Tonight will see the band perform a 45 min set on the Island of Menorca within the Second Life 3D world! This is a first for the Wire Daisies and after the rehearsals yesterday; they are known to be very much looking forward to entertaining fans outside of the 'real world' and inside the 'virtual Second Life' platform. Second Life is a 3-D virtual world entirely built and owned by its residents. Since opening to the public in 2003, it has grown explosively and today is inhabited by a total of 4,088,541 people from around the globe. For those of you who are new to Second Life, but would like to watch the exclusive performance by the band, you will need to head over to www.secondlife.com and register.

Radio 2 plays brand new single 'Rocket Girl'

Treana, Ols, Alden, Steve and Rob have just finished playing at Abbey Road as part of the UPOP@Abbey Road Sessions. The band played three new tracks from the new record- 'Rocket Girl', Silver Top and 'Never Meant To Hurt You'. The band also played 'Just Another Day', favourite's 'Butterfly' and 'Mary Jane'. The official music area of this site is now live. There you can listen/view the audio/lyrics of the Wire Daisies debut album 'Just Another Day'. Be sure to check back soon as we will be uploading audio clips of the eagerly awaited second album titled, 'Wire Daisies'. The New WDs Site

The new look and feel reflects the brand new album that is due to hit the shelves in May. The new site boasts brand new Q&A's from the band, plus a newly updated biography. The message board has also been given a spring clean and look out for posts from the band members very soon!
